Nipple Piercing

Seeing a nipple piercing picture and actually having it done are two entirely different things.  You can watch a nipple piercing video to get some more detail into the process.  When looking at a nipple piercing picture, look at the jewelry used and what it looks like in place.  This may give you some idea as to what it might look like on you.  Males and females both are getting into nipple piercing saying it heightens sensitivity.  There are also reports of it being painful to some and not as painful to others.  It all depends on the look you want and the type of barbell or shield you use.

When you see a nipple piercing picture, most show a barbell through the center horizontally.  Some people go vertical and some go diagonal.  The most popular, however, is the horizontal piercing.  These piercings can take a long time to heal.  A good time frame is six months to a year and a half.  Make sure you are able to take care of the piercing and keep it clean before you get it done.  Infections often come from the tugging, pulling, or stretching of the nipple ring before it is completely healed.

If you watch a nipple piercing video, here is what you might see that a nipple piercing picture won’t show you.  You go in and lie down on the table.  The piercer will mark exactly where he wants the holes to be.  He will then have you look at it and make sure it is also to your liking.  Sometimes many of the good piercing places will use ethyl chloride to freeze the area being pierced to help with pain since it is a sensitive area.  Next is what people say is the most uncomfortable part about the whole procedure.  They place a clamp around the nipple and then tighten it to hold it in place.  They take a needle, push it through, and thread a ball ring through.  This is a ring that has a little ball on it to keep it from sliding back through.  Saline is the best cleaner for the ring every day about four times.  After the ring is through, you are done.  It takes less than five minutes.

Many people have their nipple pierced horizontally, vertically and diagonally all in the same nipple.  You may be able to find a nipple piercing picture like this on line.  These are done after the last one heals.  Usually after this third piercing, you shouldn’t get any more as there is usually no more room. 

Sometimes you see a nipple piercing picture where the person has had both nipples pierced.  Most people that have had this say get them done at the same time if you are planning to anyway.  It will save you time and money in the long run.  You can have all the pain now and not have to worry about it in the future.  If you are worrying about what side to get it on if you are male, there apparently is no denomination as to which side to use.  So get whatever you like.

When you go to the piercer’s studio, look at the photos they have on the walls.  You may see something you really like and want to have done.  After the piercing heals, you can switch it out for a barbell or a shield depending on your style and what you really like.  They can even link a chain between the two and connect them.  There is no limit on nipple piercings, only your own imagination.
